Rhianna and supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid

Rhianna's collaboration with sportswear label Puma paved its way to be the most interesting show to have made its debut this New York Fashion week. All black everything and slicked backed painted hair made this collection stand out as being very 90's goth. Rhianna never has second thoughts when it comes to the her personal style, being with her looks almost all the time. Many unique RhiRhi pieces could be found on the runway, from the thigh high lace boots, sweeping kimonos, velvet bomber jackets and the oversized hoodie dress - Rhianna's has always been street style savy and this was just another tick in the box for this celebrity turned designer.

The first look to appear on the runway was one of Rhianna's signature looks, thigh high white boxing boots and a black bomber jacket. The collection is not to be confused with athletic wear, which is what Puma primarily produces, Rhianna wanted to translate her attitude and new album Anti in the pieces producing looks for both men and women. Oversizing of jackets and jumpers serve more than their purpose of looking nice on the models, but are were also designed with gender in mind as the pieces hide the models silhouettes. 

I have always been rather sceptical when it comes to celebrities and fashion designing but I surprisingly am in love with this whole collection! Unlike others, you can tell Rhianna has taken inspiration from what she likes when it comes to fashion making it her own. The collection is set to be released in September and I can imagine all of her fans are eager to get their hands on some of these items, especially if its anything like her last collection for Puma. 

Trying my hardest not to be biased when it comes to anything the Hadid sisters wear, I am smitten with Bella's look (left). Rhianna herself made the connection between her collection and the Addams Family which is a huge winner for me.
