Friends and family reading this will probably be laughing at the thought of me posting this. I will admit I probably am the most unreliable person when dishing out organisational advice, but why not give it a go? I do have many tips and tricks, which I desire to use in getting myself organised but that just hasn't happened as of yet. Its a working process.
1. Probably the most straight forward thing to do is to get yourself a diary. I do actually own one so I guess that makes this post slightly less humorous. Whether it be electronic or one you keep in your handbag, they're an easy way to get yourself on top of deadlines and simply remembering those important dates, such as the beginning of Fashion week and Award Season.
2. Establish a sleeping pattern. Whilst this tip may seem irrelevant, this is honestly a god sent. By setting yourself a time to go to sleep and wake up, you won't be lacking energy and will be able to cease the day as I like to say.
3. Clean. Not the most thrilling of things, but it enables you to begin fresh and buy a heap load of pieces such as folders and files to get yourself in the game.
4. Make a list and check it twice. Christmas is long gone but I could not help myself. Everyone loves a good to-do list, right? There is nothing more helpful than keeping a pen and paper at the side of your bed. I find myself going over things I have to do the following day whilst settling to sleep, jotting these down are a perfect and effective way of keeping on top of things.
5. Begin now, not tomorrow or next week. NOW.
6. Do not overwhelm yourself with things to do. Set yourself tasks to do throughout the week, theres no need to add to stress you may have.
7. Buy an array of coloured pens and sticky notes. Theres nothing more satisfying than using new stationery to get yourself organised and begin colour coding making it fun.
8. Set yourself achievable goals, like learning how to spell stationery without needing to Google it first knowing you will still always spell it wrong.
9. Have control.
10. Find a way to oragnise yourself that suits you best.
Thank you for reading.
